Our day was everything we had imagined and more! Your calm but assertive nature ensured everything ran smoothly! And all the other staff were so friendly and attentive! We have had nothing but amazing comments about the venue, the staff and the day as a whole! So thank you so so much for all you did in the lead up to make it as easy as possible for us to throw one hell of a party! We are so incredibly grateful!

We cannot wait to come back and reminisce on what was a perfect day!

Joanne and I just arrived home in Avondale Heights, Melbourne.

We thank you for your patience and dedication to make Danielle and Tom’s wedding a memorable occasion under adverse and unpredictable weather conditions – that’s Melbourne.

It was a testament to your experience with handling anything that confronts you.

Again thank you for the last minute decision to arrange the chairs for an outdoor ceremony – While driving to the reception, Danielle was hoping that you would do it, and her wish came true.

I also thank your team at Stillwater for being flexible under your guidance.

The occasion kept every one guessing with humour on what will come next as the sun shone, to overcast then drizzle, and out came the umbrellas, to the journey into the reception area to complete the ceremony.

The sun shone again, and the comical photographer kindly instructed the congregation to move out into Stillwater’s lovely scenery, but my father who is 91 was missing. So we waited, and waited, and he was still missing.

So the photographer went to investigate as the guests were eagerly waiting to have a group photo taken before the rain comes again; the photographer came back and spontaneously announce that my father is in the loo having a pee.

My mum, who is 85, initially was in a little surprised at the comment, but then chuckled, so I had to respond to the guests by saying that if we can all get to 91 and remember to have a pee, we would be doing well – hopefully we will all get there one day.

Well the day was magnificent, and without prompting anyone, all the guests were very impressed with the venue from the surrounds to the cosy reception room to the polish(??) chef and Jade (??) and the other waiters and waitress who kept everyone happy.

The service and food was excellent in execution and taste.

I just wanted to write to you now that things have calmed down from the wedding. I cannot begin to thank you enough for all your efforts for my wedding, I don’t even have the words to describe how amazing you were!!! You were so organised and informative throughout the process which made things so incredibly easy when it came to planning and working things out with you. Nothing was too much trouble for you and the team (Mum has told everyone and still loves the fact you made us all a coffee the morning of the wedding)

On the day, the team were amazing, I did not have to think of anything, it was all organised and beautifully set out for me. I loved how in control and across every detail you were, getting all my little annoying things like the games and the thongs etc set up, from yelling after me for walking too fast down the aisle to my flowers too high, my lolly buffet was set up and you made it look amazing, even the change of plan on the day to accommodate my dad walking me down the aisle was sorted without a second though.

Everyone commented on the food (and the venue OF COURSE), the team were brilliant and so accommodating and attentive to everyone. All I had to do was look around and another drink was delivered to me. I barely got food because I was all over the place but the offer was always there to get something for me, I think it was Monty who organised a little platter for me, which was gorgeous of her, (I’m not sure what happened to it, I was dragged away for something, HAHA), but it was so lovely of her to organise for me.

Even at the end of the night when trying to pack things up for you, the team were so very helpful and even threw in some soft drink for us to take back to our villa.

From start to finish, everything went to plan, it really just made the day for me and I cannot thank you enough.

We just wanted to say the biggest thank you to you, Govinda and the team at Stillwater. Our day could not have been more perfect.. We are still blown away by how wonderful your team are, they did not miss a beat the whole night.

I have worked in events previously and have not come across a team as organised, accepting, well mannered and efficient as your staff. There was not an empty hand or glass the entire night, even through speeches, and no requests were ever too big. I ended up having to turn a few plates away as i was being given food for myself and was absolutely stuffed! We also had so many comments on how delicious and fresh the food was, and how much there was. Our guests were queuing by the door in excitement to see what was coming out next!

Many of our guests can be quoted as saying “this was the best wedding I have been to in a long time”. It was the perfect setup for a fun and laid back evening, everyone had a ball. Especially Nate and I. Even when it began to rain and hail, the staff rounded everyone up and continued the party inside.

So thank you, for being so wonderful and easy to deal with, for answering my many questions, setting up my OCD placements on the day and for making it the best day for us. I instantly felt relaxed when I walked in and saw you, I knew you and the team had it from there.

I want to get married again just so i can come back and party!
